RXDC is a compact intra-oral dental X-ray system developed for CEFLA Dental Group.

Completed in twelve months, the project included industrial design, mechanical engineering, and pre-engineering support for the handheld control unit, the X-ray head, and the supporting mechanical components.

ALTA focused on creating an ergonomic, lightweight, and intuitive system that could be easily positioned during clinical use while maintaining a clean and professional design language.

The development also addressed manufacturability, assembly, component integration, and reliable use in dental environments. RXDC was introduced at the IDS 2007 Dental Fair in Cologne.
