For this project, we were tasked with designing a next-generation, ultra-compact laboratory stirrer that moves away from traditional utilitarian equipment. We turned strict technical and thermal constraints into a cutting-edge, consumer-inspired design.

Our Core Contributions:

• Minimalist Interface: We eliminated bulky mechanical knobs entirely, integrating an LED screen and a flat, touch-button control layout inspired by modern consumer electronics.

• Thermal & Space Optimization: To maintain a compact footprint, we engineered a sleek housing that flawlessly balances space-saving geometry with critical safety engineering—maintaining a strict 22mm internal clearance beneath the 5-inch white ceramic heating disc to isolate heat and protect internal electronics.

• Compact Protection: We sculpted an ultra-compact, premium form factor that maximizes limited lab bench space while fully conforming to IP21 waterproof standards for everyday lab durability.
