DLAB tasked us with transforming a highly technical laboratory instrument into a sleek, user-centric product. We led the industrial design and structural packaging, delivering a device that balances high-performance engineering with a premium aesthetic.

Our Core Contributions:

• Ergonomic Interface: We designed a distinctively angled front console that perfectly positions the LCD display and tactile controls for optimal benchtop visibility and workflow.

• Modern Visual Identity: We moved away from bulky, utilitarian norms to craft a clean, geometric plastic housing that visually communicates precision and hygiene.

• Smart Structural Packaging: We masterfully integrated the complex internal architecture—including the motor, magnets, and main control board—into a compact footprint. We achieved this space-saving form while strictly maintaining the 48mm minimum chassis thickness required for safe heat dissipation.

• Durable Integration: We engineered the exterior to seamlessly frame the 180x180mm microcrystalline glass heating panel , ensuring the final product meets rigorous IP42 waterproof standards for demanding environments.
