For Dragon Laboratory Instruments Ltd, ALTA developed the industrial design of the D1524R high-speed refrigerated microcentrifuge, creating a compact, distinctive and professional exterior for this high-performance laboratory instrument.

The design work focused on the overall form, proportions and visual organization of the enclosure. Particular attention was given to the integration of the large upper lid, the front control interface and the different functional areas within a coherent and recognizable product architecture.

Smooth transitions, softly contoured surfaces and carefully defined details give the centrifuge a robust yet approachable appearance. The resulting design combines clear usability and convenient access with a modern visual identity suited to professional laboratory environments.
