ALTA redesigned the SMEG WD5090 washer disinfector, applying premium kitchen-appliance aesthetics to a professional instrument reprocessing system while preserving all technical and functional requirements.

The project focused on the external product architecture, front door design, control panel integration, internal component constraints, ventilation areas, and overall visual identity, combining a clean domestic design language with the robustness required for professional use.
