Developed for Zhermack, the Dune dental sandblaster combines compact design, robust engineering, and user-focused ergonomics for professional dental laboratories. 

ALTA was responsible for the complete industrial design, mechanical engineering, and product development, transforming the concept into a manufacturable product optimized for rotational molding in HDPE.

The project emphasized innovative production techniques, simplified assembly, and a distinctive aesthetic while maintaining durability and ease of use.

Careful attention was given to operator visibility, ergonomic access to the blasting chamber, intuitive control layout, and production efficiency, resulting in a reliable and visually distinctive laboratory device that successfully combines functional performance with cost-effective manufacturing.
