For LABNET International and its OEM partners, ALTA developed the industrial design of a compact benchtop mini microcentrifuge intended for quick sample spin-downs and routine laboratory procedures.

The design work focused on creating a small, recognizable and user-friendly instrument while integrating the centrifuge chamber, interchangeable rotor system and operating components into a coherent enclosure. Particular attention was given to the proportions of the body, convenient access to the samples and the integration of the transparent lid, which allows the rotor and tubes to remain visible.

Softly contoured surfaces and carefully defined transitions give the product a clean and approachable appearance, while the different lid colours support product customization for LABNET and other OEM brands. The resulting design combines a minimal footprint, clear operation and a distinctive professional identity suitable for individual laboratory workstations.
