For Dragon Laboratory Instruments Ltd, ALTA designed the dTrite and dFlow electronic liquid-handling platform, creating a shared product identity for two closely related laboratory instruments.

dTrite is an electronic burette developed for precise and fatigue-free titration, featuring motorized operation, a large digital display and a remote-control panel that minimizes physical disturbance during use. dFlow is an electronic bottle-top dispenser designed for accurate and repeatable liquid dispensing, with adjustable aspiration and dispensing speeds and different operating modes.

ALTA developed a coherent industrial design that accommodates the different functional requirements of both products while maintaining a recognizable family identity. The design integrates the motorized mechanism, digital interface, remote controls and bottle connection within a compact and organized architecture.

Particular attention was given to clear interaction, information visibility and comfortable use during repetitive laboratory procedures. The resulting design combines technical precision and professional laboratory aesthetics with a distinctive and consistent visual language.
