For Dragon Laboratory Instruments Ltd, ALTA designed Levo ME, a compact battery-powered pipette filler developed for effortless, single-handed liquid handling in professional laboratories.

The design focused on creating a lightweight and ergonomic handheld instrument that remains comfortable and intuitive during repetitive pipetting procedures. Its form provides natural access to the two main controls, allowing aspiration and dispensing speeds to be adjusted independently using the upper and lower buttons.

ALTA integrated the rechargeable lithium-ion battery, motorized pipetting system, replaceable hydrophobic filter and pipette connection into a compact and coherent product architecture. The instrument is compatible with glass and plastic pipettes from 0.1 to 100 mL and supports both powered and gravity dispensing.

The resulting design gives Levo ME a distinctive and professional identity while combining comfortable handling, clear operation and the flexibility required for everyday laboratory work.
